At a media event held on-site at the Shuttle Launch & Landing Facility Friday, August 14, 2026, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced MAX POWER. Intended to Celebrate the spirit of American innovation, this event serves as an exciting new expo and demo of what NASA has to offer. According to NASA, “The two-day event will feature immersive experiences for all ages to enjoy, including air shows, skydiving stunts, technology demonstrations, spaceflight hardware, military aircraft, and behind‑the‑scenes access to America’s spaceport.” Expect to see the USAF Thunderbirds perform, Apollo + Artemis astronauts and even Jared himself flying in the airshow.
The event, in collaboration with Air Dot Show, UP.Summit, Space Florida, Delaware North, and Purpose Entertainment is organized into three park experiences. Each park requires separate tickets. Information and tickets are now available at https://www.nasa.gov/maxpower/.

NASA astronauts Deniz Burnham and Raja Chari flew in on a T-38 in support of the event. In March 2027, Burnham will embark on her first mission serving as an Expedition 76 flight engineer launching aboard the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-30.
